At Blaine Plastic Surgery, we are committed to women’s comprehensive mental and physical well being in addition to aesthetic care. Seemingly small issues can have a profound impact on your overall quality of life, and whereas women can be hesitant to bring up personal or intimate issues, our all-female staff is happy to reassure you and answer your questions in a friendly, warm and discreet environment. Childbirth history, aging and genetics all play a role in these changes that a woman will experience across the entire body. These changes can create aesthetic concerns, sexual complications, physical pain and discomfort, and emotional stress.
Our dedicated and compassionate team of women will help lead you towards the most effective treatment to help you achieve permanent and lasting results. Your private consultation is typically just a conversation (guided by an easy to complete questionnaire) with Dr. Blaine, either alone or with a female assistant in the room. Dr. Blaine will then discuss the various treatment options with you. At Blaine Plastic Surgery we pride ourselves in offering a variety of solutions to meet every individual’s concerns, lifestyle and budget.
Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure that works to reduce the size, or change the shape, of the labia minora. The labia minora are the small inner lips of the external vagina that line the vaginal opening. Many women are born with large, asymmetrical, and/or irregular appearing labia. Others can develop this condition after childbirth or as a result of aging. The enlarged labia can cause embarrassment and/or physical discomfort during sex, sports or other physical activities as they can become apparent and hang down past the labia majora. Additionally, an enlarged labia minora can also make certain clothing uncomfortable or impossible to wear.
The precise removal, trimming, and/or rearrangement of tissue during this procedure is performed in an outpatient setting under anesthesia. Post surgical discomfort is typically minimal and most patients can return to work within 24-48 hours
Non-Surgical Vaginal Rejuvenation
Vaginal laxity, vaginal dryness, and stress urinary incontinence are all very common and natural outcomes of aging, genetics, lifestyle, pregnancy and/or vaginal childbirth. The clinically proven, Radio Frequency modality, Viveve® effectively treats these conditions in a comfortable, 30-40 minute treatment that does not require any local or topical anesthesia or analgesics. The Viveve® treatment is performed in the office setting and optimal results are reached after just one session.
