Are frown lines on your brow or crow’s feet around your eyes making you look older, tired or cranky? Smooth away unwanted dynamic lines on your face with the help of Xeomin injections. Xeomin is a neurotoxin injection, or neuromodulator, similar to Botox, Dysport or Jeuveau, that can minimize lines on your face. Blaine Plastic Surgery offers Xeomin injections for frown line and wrinkle treatment at our clinics in Huntington, Manhattan and Staten Island, NY.

Neurotoxin injections, like Xeomin, work by blocking nerve signals to targeted muscles. In the forehead, Xeomin can relax muscles that create the horizontal lines, or glabellar lines, or “11” lines, between the eyebrows. Once the muscles stop contracting, the lines smooth away and reveal a more youthful, pleasant-appearing brow. Crow’s feet at the corner of the eyes can also be smoothed with Xeomin injections.

Xeomin injections can be performed in our office and only takes 15-20 minutes. It usually requires 3-5 days to see results, but you can expect the treatment to last 3-4 months. There is no downtime or recovery needed. You can come in for a Xeomin treatment for frown lines or wrinkles on a lunch break.

Preventive and Corrective Treatment for Lines

Neurotoxin injections, like Xeomin and Botox, were first used to correct lines and wrinkles. While neuromodulators are still used for active frown lines or crow’s feet, many younger patients are using these injections as a preventive treatment. By relaxing these specific muscles that create brow and eye wrinkles, it can slow the formation of these notable dynamic lines.

If you want to smooth brow lines or crinkles at the corners of your eyes, Xeomin injections may be right for you. To schedule a consultation or treatment session, contact us at Blaine Plastic Surgery. We have locations in Midtown, Long Island and Staten Island, NY, for your convenience.
