Morpheus8 from InMode is an exciting enhancement to microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy that goes deeper than its predecessor, Fractora, to help remodel subdermal/subcutaneous fat while stimulating collagen production. In one powerful treatment, Morpheus8 penetrates deep into the skin and subdermal layers of the face, neck and body to remodel and contour these delicate body areas. Blaine Plastic Surgery is happy to offer Morpheus8 treatment for our patients, available at our clinics in New York.
How Morpheus8 Works
Morpheus8 treatment works by utilizing a set of tiny micro-needles that are infused with radiofrequency (RF) energy. The needles are systematically applied to the treatment areas, allowing each needle to penetrate up to 4000 microns, or 4mm, to the subdermal layer, where the energy is then delivered. As a subdermal adipose remodeling device (SARD), a Morpheus8 treatment package fractionally remodels and contours targeted treatment areas for a smoother, more toned and tighter appearance. Topical numbing is applied to the area(s) prior to treatment so patients typically do not feel any discomfort. Pro-Nox (nitrous oxide) sedation can also be utilized for further relaxation during your treatment.
Morpheus8 treats a variety of skin and aging concerns including:
- Active acne
- Acne Scars
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Stretch marks
- Surgical scars
- Uneven skin tone
- Lax skin
This technology can be applied anywhere that requires tightening and/or resurfacing including the face, neck, décolletage and body. Unlike lasers, Morpheus8 is safe and effective for all skin types (Fitzpatrick skin types I-IV). Patients with darker skin previously had no viable options for skin resurfacing and are now seeing excellent results with Morpheus8.
Mild redness and swelling are to be expected immediately post procedure, which typically lasts 24-48 hours. Many patients see improvements to their skin tone and texture after the first session. However, the best results from Morpheus8 are seen after a series (3-4 sessions) spaced roughly 4-6 weeks apart.
