Fractora is a dynamic multi-tasking device that profoundly reduces active acne and acne scars, tightens and lifts aging skin, stimulates collagen production, and improves pigment concerns offering a healthy, youthful appearance for ALL skin types. The leading treatment of its kind, Fractora harnesses radiofrequency energy to simultaneously resurface the skin and tighten deeper tissues for one powerful result.
How Fractora Works
A set of tiny micro-needles are infused with radiofrequency energy and are systematically applied over the area(s) to be treated. Each needle penetrates several millimeters through the epidermis and dermis where the energy is delivered, coagulating subdermal tissue while triggering cell turnover on the skin’s surface. Topical numbing is applied to the area(s) prior to treatment so patients typically do not feel any discomfort. Pronox (nitrous oxide) can also be utilized to further relax during the treatment.
What does Fractora treat?
Fractora treats chronic skin conditions, aging concerns, and corrects skin damage including:
- Active acne
- Acne scars
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Stretch marks
- Surgical scars
- Uneven skin tone
- Lax skin
This technology can be applied anywhere that requires tightening and/or resurfacing including the face, neck, decolletage, and body. Unlike lasers, Fractora is safe and effective for ALL skin types (Fitzpatrick skin types I-IV). Patients with darker skin previously had no viable options for skin resurfacing and are now seeing excellent results with Fractora.
Recovery from Fractora
Mild redness and swelling is to be expected immediately post procedure which typically lasts 24-48 hours. Many patients see improvement to their skin tone and texture after the first session but best results from Fractora are seen after a series (3-4 sessions) spaced roughly 4-6 weeks apart.
